Terms of Service

MyLO is a free chess opening training tool. You can build repertoires and traps, drill them, play against bots, and browse what other players publish. Features may change, improve, or be removed as the app evolves.

Keep your password to yourself and give us accurate information. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One account per person is plenty.

The repertoires, traps, notes, and other content you create are yours. Chess moves themselves belong to everyone, but your descriptions, annotations, and the way you organize your prep are your work.

If you publish a repertoire, you give us permission to display and distribute it within MyLO, including letting other users view, pull, fork, and rate it. You can unpublish at any time, which stops new access but does not undo copies other users already pulled into their own libraries.

Only upload content you have the right to share. Names, descriptions, and notes must not contain unlawful, hateful, or abusive material.

Do not abuse the service. That includes attempting to break or overload it, scraping other users' content at scale, impersonating other people, or using the platform to distribute spam or malware. We may remove content or close accounts that do.

Published repertoires may pass through a light review before they appear, and we may feature, unlist, or remove published content at our discretion to keep the library useful and safe.

MyLO is provided as is, free of charge. We work to keep it fast, correct, and available, but we make no guarantees about uptime, engine evaluations, or that any opening will win you the game. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the service.

You can stop using MyLO and delete your account from Settings at any time, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.

The MyLO name, logo, mascot, and the design of the app are © 2026 My Library of Openings, all rights reserved. Content you create remains yours, and published repertoires remain the work of their authors.
